I think this is a fabulous idea. The Baby Safe Cap is a one-piece flip cap for baby bottles that snaps back and stays out of baby's way while they eat, and then snaps back in place for leak-free storage.

Like many, many parents we have lost almost all of the lids to our baby bottles. They have been left behind at the park, playgroups, lost somewhere in the back seat of the car or at the bottom of the toy box.

Since the only brand of bottle my baby liked did not sell lids separately, I ended up buying bottles over and over which is quite expensive and not very environmentally friendly. Baby Safe Caps fit all standard bottles and is always attached – perfect! They are also BPA and toxin-free making it safer for baby than some brands still on the market today.

The Baby Safe Cap is definitely a practical product that will be appreciated by any mom or dad who has dropped the bottle lid in a public place – eew! – or has been frustrated by having to search far too many times in a jam packed diaper bag for a tiny transparent lid that they gave up trying to find.

I think these would be great to bundle with other practical items for baby as a themed gift around feeding your baby. The gift basket could also include a book about preparing baby’s first foods, bibs, first spoons and fork set and a food-themed toy.
