I recently received the Baby Dipper Bowl Set to review and was interested to see how it compared to the other specialty feeding bowls and if it did make feeding your baby easier.
The Baby Dipper is designed better than any other children’s bowls I have used. I have bowls that have a suction cup bottom but they didn’t stick very well or I had to wet the bottom to get any suction – messy and inconvenient. The Baby Dipper has a non-slip bottom that works really well at keeping the bowl in place without dealing with a suction cup.
The inside of the bowl is angled allowing the baby food slide to the bottom which means easy scooping and less mess when feeding -- you can easily feed a baby using one hand as you help other toddlers or children with their meals. It really does make feeding easier.
The fun colors and unique shape made it an instant hit with my older children. Toddlers will benefit from the unique design of the Baby Dipper as well. Many moms have stories of dinner finding its way to the floor as an eager toddler tries to self-feed only to chase the bowl around the table and eventually off the edge. The Baby Dipper Bowl will stay put making it much easier for toddlers learning to self-feed. It gives them more independence and gives you some time to manage all the other details of family meals.
The Baby Dipper is phthalate-free, BPA-free and lead-free which is important to today’s mom. I think it would make a great baby shower gift that will be used from introducing solids through toddlerhood.
For a unique gift, I would include 2 or 3 Baby Dippers in a gift basket with a ‘first foods’ cookbook, a few fun bibs and some wooden food toys.

Please note: Although the Baby Dipper is dishwasher and microwave safe, it’s best to clean by hand and use caution if heating with a microwave since microwave heat is inconsistent and might leave foods too hot.
